Explore cardboard construction methods to engineer a 3-d wall relief sculpture! Students will create lively large-scale sculptures for the wall using cardboard, tape, papier mache, plaster strips and paint. As a reference point, students will study the amazing design found in nature's beautifully designed sea creators.

3D Sculpture – Foam: Ages 5-8

Campers will turn a foam noodle into a twisty, bendy sculpture! They will shape it into loops, knots, and wavy lines that balance and flow. Work with plaster gauze to make your sculpture strong, and then.... it’s time to paint! Students will use as many rainbow colors as they like to decorate their abstract sculpture and make it one-of-a-kind.

Campers will turn a foam noodle into a twisty, bendy sculpture! They will shape it into loops, knots, and wavy lines that balance and flow. Work with plaster gauze to make your sculpture strong, and then.... it’s time to paint! Students will use as many rainbow colors as they like to decorate their abstract sculpture and make it one-of-a-kind.

Each day offers a playful, sensory-rich experience that encourages curiosity, creativity, and cultural awareness -- along with a few delightful surprises that extend the adventure after camp is over.

This enchanting camp is designed for kids to immerse themselves in the world of gnome gardens. Campers will unleash their creativity by designing and crafting their own miniature gnome gardens, complete with tiny houses, magical creatures, and lush landscapes. Join us for a week of imaginative play and hands-on fun as we bring miniature worlds to life!
