Creative Youth Studio Classes at CAM

After school and weekend classes in creative writing, creative play, and all visual art media.

Pottery 4 Kids (Ages 5-8)

In this fun and creative ceramics class, young artists will explore the exciting world of clay through hands-on projects inspired by nature, animals, stories, food, and imagination. Students will learn basic handbuilding techniques such as pinch pots, coil building, and slab construction while creating both sculptural and functional pieces.

Shadow Puppets (Ages 9-12)

Let's have fun making shadow puppets! Shadow puppets are easy to make and super cool to play with! Students will learn to make shadow puppets and about creating characters. We will use the puppets to do a short performance.

Using cardboard and additional materials students will create cardboard creations like masks, puppets and other creative designs.
