Alternative Printmaking: Age 9-12

Learn how to print at home with everyday objects! We’ll use Coca-Cola, veggies, aluminum foil and a LOT of ink!! We will practice alternative methods to learn traditional techniques printmakers and artists use daily to create unique masterpieces. A messy, but fun way to introduce yourself to the world of printmaking!
*heads-up this class is really hands on and messy, so don’t wear your best clothes!!

Let’s explore art in all kinds of ways. We’ll look at and hear about famous artists and explore their styles.
We’ll experiment with all sorts of art media like print making, acrylic painting on canvas, sculpture from found object, faux stained glass and so much more! The goal is to bring your creativity to life!!

Embark on an artistic journey with our "Sculpture Safari Adventure" summer camp! Kids will explore the fascinating world of sculpture through hands-on activities, outdoor adventures, and collaborative projects. This camp aims to unleash creativity, teach fundamental sculpting techniques, and inspire young artists to bring their imaginations to life in three dimensions. Materials will include clay, paper mâché, wire and found objects.
