About The Exhibition

November 21, 2025 – May 24, 2026
Member preview: Thursday, November 20, 2025

Magic, Light and Sacred Geometry: Glassworks by Frederick G. Kahl is the culmination of the artist’s decade-long inquiry into the immersive and meditative quality of light. This exhibition features glass works as well as drawings. Magic, play, and a sense of mystery have informed the multi-media artist’s work over his varied career. Also known as “the Great Fredini,” Kahl’s artistic experiences have included visual and stage illusions, yogic sideshow feats of sword swallowing, and 3D scanned and printed portrait sculptures. His current focus on sacred geometries to create meditational experiences informs this exhibition.

Presented and curated in partnership with Starworks, a non-profit art studio with galleries in Star, NC, this exhibition features Kahl’s work in conjunction with his summer 2025 artist residency at Starworks.
