Fresh Air: Inflatable Sculptures
June 19– September 6, 2026
Member Preview: June 18, 2026

Fresh Air is a bold exploration of inflatable sculpture, showcasing soft materials and form. Through innovative techniques and non-traditional materials, this exhibition invites viewers to engage with art that is both playful and deeply reflective. From pop culture icons to intimate reflections on spatial experience, each work challenges our perceptions of what sculpture can be and what narratives sculpture can tell.

Expect the unexpected in this dynamic celebration of form, space, and imagination. Included are Andy Warhol’s immersive and magical Silver Clouds (on view through Sept 26, 2026, in Studio One Gallery) alongside Chicago-based contemporary artist Nick Cave’s large sculptural installation Augment, which transforms the gallery into a site of collective joy and reflection, extending Cave’s ongoing exploration of movement, visibility, and community through participatory, sensory experience.

Additional artists include Claire Ashley, Nicole Banowetz, Nancy Davidson, Tamar Ettun, and Momoyo Torimitsu.
