The 2024 Closing Film is ART, BEATS + LYRICS, directed by Bill Horace. ART, BEATS + LYRICS celebrates the legacy of the groundbreaking visual art and hip-hop roadshow that began in Atlanta in 2004 and has since become the national phenomenon. The documentary chronicles the lead up to AB+L’s twentieth anniversary tour.
The Black Arts Alliance presents the 21st Annual North Carolina Black Film Festival in Wilmington, NC. The North Carolina Black Film Festival is a Four day juried and invitational festival of independent motion pictures by Black filmmakers which showcase features, shorts, animation, documentary films, and student films. We pride ourselves in the Carolina Hospitality and great previous honorees and winners such as Anthony Hemingway, Ava DuVernay, Giancarlo Esposito, the late Dwayne McDuffie, Scott Sanders and more.
