Closing the Gap: AI in Education

February 13 @ 4:00 pm

Spend a fun and enlightening evening at Cameron Art Museum during this professional development event, Closing the Gap.

Closing the Gap highlights the ease of arts-integrated learning in the classroom. Each session focuses on topical education concerns, artwork at CAM, and supporting our teachers and students with standards-rooted lesson plans.
We recognize the growing learning gaps in classrooms today.

We’ve designed this event to support our area’s educators with the tools and inspiration needed to continue their work at minimizing those learning gaps. From Pre-K to College, each Closing the Gap session is designed to be adaptable to virtually any classroom. Also, participants
receive a certificate at the conclusion of the event eligible for CEU submission at their school.

In honor of the exhibition
Rising Stars, we will look at emerging trends in the art and classroom environment. After the Closing the Gap session, there will be an illustrated lecture with members of the NCAEA on the impact of arts education and influential contemporary artists. We will explore the future of AI in the art world and how to prepare students for the innovations it will bring.
