Pop Art Poetry Weekend Workshop

In two, three-hour weekend sessions, students will experience poetry as play. Riffing off of the Pop Art created at Warhol’s Factory, students will create short poems inspired by Andy’s Silver Clouds on display at the Museum, as well as a wide range of everyday items and images, from soup cans to superheroes. This two-day course is designed to help students of all levels and abilities to think of imagery and writing as play, and to help them find art and poetry in the most unlikely places.
