Painting Shorebirds

Explore the beauty of the birds that inhabit our coastal area! Through its pose and movement, you will learn how to capture the alignment of the bird’s body. Applying multiple layers of color and value will create texture and shadows. Using different sizes and types of brushes, you will create all features from the larger shapes of the body to finely detailed feathers that can be developed. You will also paint a beautiful sky or water scene for your bird to live in.
