Learn the basics of planning and carving your design into a linoleum block. Then learn proper inking and printing techniques. $15.00 due to instructor covers printing papers, (2) 5"x7" linoleum plates and inking palette
Please come to first class with an image.
Linocut cutter set (handle with a variety of cutters);
Soft rubber brayer 3-1/2”or 4”;
Speedball water-soluble block printing ink 2.5 oz-Black (colors optional);
1” flexible flat palette knife or putty knife;
Pencil and paper to sketch ideas;
Tracing paper and/or graphite transfer paper;
Black marker or brush pen;
Optional: Bench hook, disposable gloves
