Figurative: Conscious Lines & Edges
Attention given to line weight (thickness and quality) and edges (hard/sharp versus soft/diffused) makes a huge difference in drawing any subject matter! When rendering the figure, it can strengthen the illusion of form and adds to perspective and overall visual dynamic. Getting into the practice of not taking these basic elements for granted will have noticeable impact on your drawings.
