Double The Plate, Double The Fun!
Incorporating Drypoint and Monotype leads to unique and interesting works of art. Two plates create one image. First a repeatable image is created on drypoint plate using your own original drawing/photo. A second process, a monotype, adds color. Experiment with color mixing and layering, incorporating stencils, and creating textures. Both plates are printed on top of each other to create the final one-of-a-kind image. Work abstractly or realistically, No experience needed! (image: student work summer '25)
