Beginner Pine Needle Basket Workshop – full, please call to join waitlist
As a nod to the Rooted in Memory exhibit, we are offering a beginner pine needle basket workshop. This one-day workshop will begin with some basic techniques for using this wonderful medium. Students will then apply those techniques to creating a coaster and/or a basket/bowl. Pine needles are a readily available medium - likely in your own yard- and the creation of these baskets is a way to connect with nature through a simple tactile process.
