Portrait Painting from Life
We will work from two models, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. We will use a limited palette and focus on light and shadow to create a likeness.

Supplies:
2x gessoed canvases or boards (8"x10"-12"x16"), Cadmium Red Medium (or something similar), Lemon Yellow (or something similar), Titanium White, Ivory Black, any other colors you might want to use, a variety of brushes including a small round brush for detail and a 1/2"-3/4" bright for painting larger areas, ODORLESS mineral spirits (like Gamsol) in a brush-cleaning tank (like Silicoil), 12"x16" white paper palette, a small palette knife for mixing, paper towels, painting clothes
