Beginner Acrylic Painting I and II

Beginners will learn basic techniques and the quirks of acrylics! Scumbling, blending, layering, wet on wet, wet on dry, how to use the brushes correctly for different techniques and much more will be explored. The importance of which brush, canvas and paint that would be best to create your painting. In this class it is all about learning and skill building.

Returning students will build on the knowledge acquired in their previous class. Strong emphasis will be placed on expanding the use of technique!

Supplies:
A good quality canvas, size of your choice. Liquitex or Golden acrylic paint. NO Liquitex Basics brand paint or Masters Touch, please. Varied Acrylic paint brushes, at least one larger one. Filberts (domed on top) preferred. Water tub, paper palette, small spray bottle. HB drawing Pencil and white eraser. Paint colors: Paynes Gray, Burnt Sienna, Titanium white, Dioxazine purple, Cobalt blue, Cadmium yellow, Cadmium red, Emerald green
