Wheel Throwing: Mugs
This two-day pottery workshop introduces participants to making wheel-thrown mugs. On day one, instruction focuses on centering clay, opening, and pulling walls to form a consistent cylinder. Day two covers trimming and finishing the works created on the previous day. This includes refining the foot, pulling handles, and demonstrating proper joining techniques to ensure durability. All materials and tools are provided. Beginner or intermediate students are welcome. No prior experience is required. Finished pieces will be fired and available for pickup at a later date.
