Known for her powerhouse vocals and magnetic stage presence, Kim blends her background in theater and jazz to create performances full of depth and passion. From leading roles in The Color Purple and Ain’t Misbehavin’ to acclaimed appearances at jazz festivals, Kim brings a rare ability to connect through both music and narrative.

Kim Pacheco is a versatile performer whose artistry spans both the stage and the jazz scene, captivating audiences with her compelling acting and soulful vocals. A dynamic presence in both theater and music, Kim’s performances combine emotional depth, technical skill, and a deep love for storytelling. Whether bringing characters to life on the stage or weaving a narrative through song, Kim’s work resonates with authenticity and passion. As a theater actress, Kim has built a reputation for her powerful portrayals in both classic and contemporary plays. Known for her ability to transform into a wide range of characters, she has performed in leading roles in productions of Wilmington’s The Color Purple, Ain’t Misbehavin’, Smokey Joe’s Cafe, The Durham Nutcracker and A Christmas Carol to name a few.
Her performances are characterized by their emotional honesty, magnetic stage presence, and a deep connection to the text. Kim has graced the stages of The Sarah McLachlan School of Music, Ocean City jazz Festival, Hermann’s Jazz Club, Victoria Conservatory of Music as an adjunct instructor earning critical acclaim for her ability to bring vulnerability and strength to every role she plays.
