
Kids at CAM with Rachard McIntyre

Join us on Saturday, June 28, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for Kids@CAM with special guest Rachard McIntyre! This Wilmington artist has works on view in CAM’s exhibition ‘Space Makers: Art & Disability in North Carolina.’
Kids and parents will have the chance to meet the artist and take part in a morning of creativity! Learn about his artworks and experiment with art through all of your senses. Families can also enjoy a tour of the Space Makers exhibition.
ASL Tour (11:30 AM-12 PM): Families are invited to join us for an ASL tour of the Space Makers exhibition after the art-making fun!
Sensory Hour (9–10 AM): Families needing a sensory-friendly space can enjoy early access before public hours, with a calm environment, sensory bags, and the opportunity to participate in the art activity. Separate registration is required for sensory hour. Families are welcome to stay until noon.
Adult Members: FREE; Adult non-members: $5
Children: $10
Children under 2: FEE
EBT Card Holders: FREE
Sensory Hour
Families in need of sensory support are invited to attend for an exclusive access beginning at 9:00am before the museum opens to the public. This early-access will feature a sensory friendly environment. Participants can tour the galleries with our sensory bags as well. While the early-access begins at 9:00 am, families are welcome to stay until the program ends at noon.
Please submit registration for each person, including separate members of same household.
