Reception Hall & We Belong Here Exhibition
CAM Members $15 | Not-Yet Members $20 | Students Free
Join us for a special CAM After Dark conversation with painter Jerrell Gibbs, moderated by Michael S. Williams of the Black on Black Project. Through vibrant, expressive portraiture, Gibbs captures familiar moments and elevates everyday life—celebrating African-American identity and highlighting the Black male figure as God-fearing, husbands, fathers, brothers, and sons.
Gibbs will discuss his painterly process and share how family archives and personal memories inspire his work. After the talk, explore his featured pieces in the We Belong Here exhibition.
