3 Artists: Work of Elizabeth Darrow, Gayle Tustin, and Karen Paden Crouch

January 21 – March 3, 2024

About The Exhibition

Cameron Art Museum’s permanent collection houses the works of three dynamic Wilmington artists: Elizabeth Darrow, Gayle Tustin and Karen Paden Crouch. Their work is highlighted in this temporary exhibition. Seen together, these works capture the creative spirit of these three women artists.

On January 28 at 3 PM, CAM presents three new short films produced by Art in Bloom Gallery, as well as a panel discussion with the artists moderated by Amy Grant from Art in Bloom. Tickets are $40 for CAM Members and $60 for Not Yet Members and all proceeds benefit the museum’s educational programming. These films were directed by Christina Capra and edited by Jessie Robertson. Painter and collage maker Elizabeth Darrow’s work is the subject of the film Believing in the Process, ceramist and mixed media artist Gayle Tustin’s work is the subject of the film Seeking Freedom Through Art, and sculptor Karen Paden Crouch’s work is the subject of In the Land of Make Believe: An Artist’s Journey.
