Weaving with Meaning – Full, Please Call
Students will use a lap loom to create a weaving that incorporates meaning through color, texture, and alternate material selection. No previous weaving skills are required. A discussion of theme will be used as a starting point to initiate a woven piece on a lap loom. Each piece will be unique. Various weaving techniques will be taught, as well as the preparation of the loom and display techniques for completed pieces.
