Evening Print Studio-Linocut Block Printing
Explore the relief printmaking method of Linocut to create striking images. This class is perfect for both the beginner and students with some experience. Learn the basics of planning and carving your design into a linoleum block. Then learn proper inking and printing techniques. Explore printing in black ink to create bold images and play with creative ways to print in color. Tap into your creativity and see what you can create! Please come to first class with an image you want to translate into a print.

Supply Fee of $15.00, payable to instructor, covers printing papers, 2 linoleum plates, disposable inking palettes, tracing paper, rags).
Please bring:
Linocut cutter set (handle with a variety of cutters)
Soft rubber brayer 3-1/2”or 4”
Speedball water-soluble block printing ink 2.5 oz Black
1” flexible flat palette knife or putty knife
Pencil and paper to sketch ideas
Optional: Bench hook, disposable gloves
