Drawing Inspired by Nature – Winter Greens and Early Blooms
Use nature as inspiration to create beautiful drawings! Improve your drawing abilities through close observation, capturing the details and beauty of early blooms and winter greens. Focusing on unique visual characteristics of individual plants, learn techniques to enhance drawings by adding texture and creating depth. Experiment with ways to add color and really bring your drawings to life. Some previous drawing experience suggested but not required.

9” x 12” Pad of Drawing Paper OR Mix Media paper (98lb) for wet medium;
Drawing pencils: H, HB, 2B, 4B;
Faber-Castell Kneaded eraser;
White eraser;
Portable pencil sharpener;
Permanent fine point marker i.e. Sakura pigma micron pen 01 or 02 (optional);
Drafting Divider (optional);
Additional supplies to add color will be demonstrated during first class period (color pencils, watercolor pencils, watercolors)
