Drawing Inspired by Nature – Autumn Blooms and Branches
Use nature as inspiration to create beautiful drawings! Improve your drawing abilities through close observation, capturing the unique shapes, details and beauty of Autumn blooms and branches. Focusing on unique characteristics of individual plants, learn techniques to enhance drawings by adding texture and creating depth. Experiment with ways to add color and really bring your drawings to life. Some previous drawing experience suggested but not required.

Mix-media Sketchbook 98lb min., apx. size: 9”x12” (examples: Canson XL Mix Media 98lb, Strathmore mixed media 400 series or similar);
Drawing pencils: H, HB, 2B, 4B;
Kneaded eraser (Faber-Castell brand);
White eraser;
Permanent Fine point marker i.e. Sakura Pigma Micron pen 01 or 02 (optional);
Drafting divider (optional);
Additional supplies to add color will be discussed at first class (colored pencils, watercolor colored pencils, watercolors)
