Weaving With Meaning
This course is introductory, but is also open to those familiar with weaving. Students will use a lap loom to create a weaving that incorporates meaning or a personal story through color, texture, & alternate material selection. No previous weaving skills are required. A discussion of theme will be used as a starting point to initiate a woven piece on a lap loom. Enjoy unique results. Weaving techniques will be taught, as well as the preparation of the loom and display techniques for completed pieces.
