Inside and Outside -Painting Interiors & Urban Landscapes
Learn to paint interesting "Urban Landscapes". Using pastels, charcoal or your favorite medium, we will explore how an interior can be brought to life, with shapes, patterns and light and shadows. Instructor will supply photos of different places of interest, you will make them come to life. It could be a corner table in a restaurant or a food truck downtown. Bring your imagination and be ready for something different!

Hard pastels - NuPastel brand is easily accessible online and in some stores (Jerry’s Artarama in Raleigh)
Medium pastels- Rembrandt, Holbein, Richeson
SOFT pastels- Blue Earth, Terry Ludwig, Unison, Sennelier, etc
Not oil pastels!

Pastelmat (comes in pads or single sheets and many colors)
Canson BE CAREFUL THERE ARE MANY CANSON PAPERS AND SOME ARE SMOOTH AND SOME HAVE A PRESSED IN PATTERN SURFACE (your choice)
