Volunteer Open House

Discover how you can make a difference at our Volunteer Open House. Meet our CAM staff and Volunteer Coordinator and learn about various volunteer roles available. This event is free and open to all. You’ll have the opportunity to ask questions, learn about the different roles we offer, and understand how your skills and interests can align with our needs.

Each year, our dedicated volunteers contribute thousands of hours to support the museum’s mission. As a volunteer, you’ll gain insight into museum operations, connect with Wilmington’s cultural community, and participate in special social and educational events.

We value flexibility, patience, and a genuine interest in supporting our arts education mission. Volunteers can engage with visitors, assist with special events, and participate in unique projects like our Connections Tours and USCT Research. Whether you’re interested in visitor services, museum shop support, administrative tasks, or special events, there’s a place for you at CAM. Training is provided.
