The southern end Wrightsville Beach has a wonderful rookery for Black Skimmers and Turns. They return every year and put on quite a show. By getting there early, we will be able to watch as the birds bring breakfast back to their nests. Participants will remain safely away from the nesting grounds while enjoying a great view of the feeding and interactions of these animals.

Join Miss Bobbi and Miss Georgia as we explore different ways to have fun with water and art. We will read "Hey, Water" by Antoinette Portis and "Water" by Frank Asch, then head into the galleries to see how many different examples of water we can find in the paintings. We will create art outside using chalk and water, watercolors, and watered down paint in spray bottles. Art Explorers is geared towards infants, toddler and preschoolers, but big brothers and sisters are welcome to join and create art with us.
