Pro Musica Concert Series—now in its tenth season--celebrating the works of living composers—ties its third and final concert of the season to the NC Arts Council funded “Come Hear NC” series at Cameron Art Museum--featuring a new work by composer Stephen Anderson written for Duo Sureño— Nancy King, soprano, Robert Nathanson, guitar and saxophonist Laurent Estoppey.
CAM Members: $12.00, Non-members: $17.00, Students: $8.00, UNCW Students with valid ID: Free. Purchase seats on CAM’s website, by phone and at CAM’s Visitor Services desk. Weyerhaeuser Reception Hall.
Before and after the concert enjoy dinner and drinks at CAM Café (910.777.2363). Café reservations are always suggested and appreciated.

This spring, Mouths of Babes (MoB) Theatre (www.mouthsofbabestheatre.com) will be working with six area students on a unique storytelling workshop, combining writing exercises with a focus on reading and performance.

Jeff has been playing music in Wilmington since 2006, when he joined local rock & roll band The Clams as a drummer. He also played guitar and sang with Upstarts and Rogues and helped produce their CD of original music. He has since produced a CD for The Clams, and is now producing a CD for Soul R Fusion.

Wilmington Sacred Harp Singers presents a traditional Sacred Harp Singing and invite you to join in the music and raise your voice in song! This dynamic form of a cappella social singing dates back to Colonial America, using a modern reprint of an 1844 songbook "The Sacred Harp". The music is loud, vigorous and intense. It is meant to be sung, not just observed. No previous experience is necessary. 1:30 pm instruction for beginners, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm entire group. Free and open to the public.

Over the past four decades, local musician Roger Davis has provided the Port City with a sensational serving of musical talent. Whether he’s performing for a crowd of weekend brunch-goers, a public gallery event, or the occasional night venue, Roger “Rog” Davis holds his melodic roots in the Wilmington area and remains a well-respected performer/composer as well as a cultural icon within the local jazz community.
