In celebration of our latest exhibition 'Safe Places: Robert Johnson', we will be exploring the music of nature around us while listening to Ferde Grofe's Grand Canyon Suite for Orchestra. For those joining us in-person, please be prepared for some light walking around the CAM campus (socially distanced, of course!).

At Home Clay Kit
It's 2021!! What does your 21st century family look like? I can remember the Jetsons and their space age city from my childhood when 2021 seemed lightyears away. What do you imagine your family could look like in 2050? Or parents, what did you imagine life would look like in 2021? Make your own set of family characters in clay to mark the beginning of a new year. A kit with clay and underglazes will be provided for work at home. Basic clay techniques will be discussed over the zoom session. Your characters are then painted with underglaze (as shown in the image above) and delivered to CAM for bisque firing. A final clear glaze will also be applied before a second firing is done.
