The group features Isabella on fiddle\, AnnMari on guitar\, Pete on banjo\, Chris on mandolin\, and their father on bass. \nThrough captivating melodies\, lively sibling banter\, and a sound shaped by faith\, kinship\, and tradition\, Dear MariBella and the Pigkickers create performances filled with warmth and personality. DESCRIPTION:Jazz@CAM: Brandon Mitchell Quartet\nThursday\, February 11\n7–9 PM\nReception Hall \nCAM Members: $40\nNot-Yet Members: $60\nStudents: $15 \nVibraphonist\, composer\, and educator Brandon Mitchell brings his rhythmically captivating and spaciously melodic sound to the Jazz@CAM stage. Performing with the Brandon Mitchell Quartet\, he offers an evening rooted in jazz tradition and shaped by expressive improvisation\, dynamic interplay\, and an inventive approach to the vibraphone. \nOriginally from Washington\, D.C.\, and now based in North Carolina\, Mitchell performs primarily as a vibraphonist and bandleader\, as well as a drummer and sideman. He released his debut solo album\, Black Guardian\, in 2020\, followed by On Brand in 2025. He is endorsed by Marimba One and is an educator affiliate of 2112 Percussion in Raleigh. \nMitchell has performed throughout the United States and abroad\, including appearances at the Jazzit Festival and Teatro Piccolo in Italy\, the Mid-Atlantic Jazz Festival\, the John Coltrane International Jazz & Blues Festival\, and the Ocean City Jazz Festival. He has performed alongside acclaimed musicians including Branford Marsalis\, Joey Calderazzo\, Jon Metzger\, John Fedchock\, and Jeff “Tain” Watts. \nMitchell earned a Master of Arts in Jazz Studies from North Carolina Central University and a Bachelor of Arts in Percussion Performance from Elon University.
