With deep roots along the North Carolina coast\, Les Fontanelles blends sweetness\, grit\, humor\, and heart into songs that feel both familiar and entirely their own. \nThe band draws inspiration from artists including Townes Van Zandt\, Dire Straits\, The Byrds\, Blaze Foley\, Bonnie “Prince” Billy\, Mazzy Star\, and Magnolia Electric Co. Their music reflects a belief that life may be filled with heartache\, but laughter and love are what make the journey beautiful. \nEqual parts front-porch gathering and late-night storytelling\, a Les Fontanelles performance moves easily between tenderness\, wit\, and a little mischief.
