DESCRIPTION:Celebrate the creativity of Southeastern North Carolina’s young artists during the opening weekend of the Rising Stars student art exhibition at Cameron Art Museum with FREE museum admission for all. \nThis month-long exhibition\, organized in collaboration with schools across an eight-county radius\, showcases the exceptional talent of high school students and highlights the promise of the newest generation of artists. \nRising Stars reflects the museum’s commitment to supporting young artists and engaging the broader community in the creative process. Don’t miss this opportunity to honor the region’s emerging talent and explore their inspiring work! \nParticipating students and their families can enjoy free museum admission throughout the run of the exhibition. Also\, CAM’s Education Team will offer participants free gallery tours and activities on opening weekend. Tours for participating families and students will be held from 11 AM-2 PM on Saturday\, February 1st. Additionally\, students can stop by the Collaboration Station to create and exchange Artist Trading Cards with their peers\, fostering connections and celebrating artistic community. \nAll who want to support and celebrate local student artists are invited to join us! \nLearn more about our current exhibitions here.
