SUMMARY:Kids at CAM: Pajama Jam Party
DESCRIPTION:Kids at CAM: Pajama Jam Party\nJoin us on Saturday\, November 9th\, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM for a special edition of Kids@CAM. \n\nKids @ CAM will collaborate with Pajama Jams this month. Participants are encouraged to come to CAM in their cozy pajamas and bring a pair to donate to Pajama Jams. Families can start the season of giving by contributing to an amazing organization. Donations should be new (never worn) pajamas size 5T to Adult XXL of any gender/design. Participants will embrace printmaking to design their own pajamas.\n\n\n\n\n\nKids at CAM is a family-friendly event. Museum staff facilitate art activities for all ages\, including parents. Cedric Harrison\, Founder of WilmingtoNColor and a dedicated historian\, will be interviewed by CAM’s cultural curator\, Daniel Jones. Together\, they will explore Wilmington’s rich history and discuss ongoing efforts to unify and uplift our community. \nCedric Harrison\, a Wilmington native\, has spent his career fostering economic growth and advancing opportunities for African Americans in the area. As the Founder of both Support The Port and WilmingtoNColor\, Harrison is deeply committed to social justice and preserving the history of Wilmington’s African American community.
