Joel Cook is an archaeologist and historian as well as the host of the award-winning PBS NC series, Rogue History. He has experience as a historical researcher in topics ranging from the American Revolution to the Second World War, but his research focuses primarily on the Reconstruction era. He holds an MA in Maritime Studies from East Carolina University and a BA in History from Fayetteville State University.
