The Basics of Drawing Birds
Whether it is a songbird, a raptor, an owl, a hummingbird or a shorebird, we will begin with the first line that creates the attitude (angle) of the body. Large and small ovals or circles start to create the shape of the bird. Working in colored pencil, this workshop will teach proportion, placement of eyes, bills, and feathers, and finish with creating a setting for your bird to live in forever.
