Hidden Histories: Writing and the Art of the Past

Whether it’s a famous photograph from the end of the second world war, a local monument, or your grandmother’s cameo brooch, discover the power of exploration and research to infuse your creative writing. We’ll look at a few examples of “documentary poetry” (including a piece on Stephen Hayes’ “Boundless” sculpture at CAM) and use them as keys to unlock the doors to the past through your own work in a 6-week workshop.
