From Pen to Print – Quick & Easy Lithography

Printmaking couldn’t be easier than this! No carving, cutting or etching required. Unlike relief or intaglio printmaking, lithography is done from a flat surface using the repelling properties of oil and water. Polyester plates make the process even easier. Drawings or designs can be easily traced or drawn onto the printing plates. Step by step instructions will be given and students will go home with a small edition of prints. Please bring an image or idea no larger than 6’ x 8” to use for your plates.
