Character Creations

In this class students will learn several techniques to assemble “character” sculptures incorporating found objects. Assemblage provides an excellent opportunity for students to develop problem-solving skills and creative strategies. Stations will be set up to experiment with the different processes (details in notes). We will make a few sculptural elements to be ready for the next class. Students will return with any found objects they want to utilize in their pieces.
