Dance: Works-in-Progress Showcase

The Dance Cooperative, in association with CAM, provides informal showings to give working choreographers and dancers a place to present works in progress for review and critique in a nurturing environment. The public is invited to witness the creative process through its many stages and provide assistance to help the creator grow the works to realize their concepts to the fullest potential. If you are interested in presenting work, e-mail: dancecooperative@gmail.com no later than the Monday preceding each showcase. Special date. Free and open to the public. GALLERY TALK: "Beyond the Horizon" with Todd Carignan, Alan Cradick, Joanne Geisel and Luc Travers

This Museum School semester Todd Carignan, Alan Cradick, Joanne Geisel and Luc Travers are offering classes with their different approaches to landscapes. In this group gallery talk hear what captures their imagination and interest about landscapes in general and specific art works in the exhibition "Beyond the Horizon" (on view through July 9, 2017). Join in to experience, explore and learn more about landscapes through the eyes of four Museum School teachers and their responses to "Beyond the Horizon". CAM Members: Free, Museum admission all others. Hughes Wing.

Page to Stage: "Jump Ball"

In honor of college basketball this month's Page to Stage theme is “Jump Ball”; to new beginnings and old adversities. Penny Kohut presents a version of “Hamlet” with comedic narration and translations; Ken Vest offers a scene from “Make Me an Angel” - Jo Lynn Dobbs fights with her son Luke as he tries to force her into an assisted living facility. Brad Field presents a unique view of the art of ballet; and Marc Matney explores dating with a reminder to be careful what you wish for.
