This concert is a tribute to the often-unsung heroes of the band, the bassists, drawing from his album “A Tribute to the Bassists of Jazz Vol. I”. Each of the songs is written by a different iconic jazz bass player, and each of these bassists has a distinctive style of playing and composing. The set will contain an amalgamation of jazz genres. This is a project Brendle has been working on for several years now and is looking forward to sharing this great music with CAM’s wonderful audiences.

The popular eight-concert series celebrates its tenth season! Offering great music from Wilmington area favorites and musicians from around the state in concert playing a range of jazz genres in an intimate listening room "close up and personal" performance setting for your pleasure.

Not a member of CAM or CFJS? Not a problem, become a member of either--or support both!--organizations and enjoy cost savings on the jazz series as well as other member benefits offered by each. Don't delay concerts routinely sell out!
