Jazz: Lynn Grissett Quartet-SOLD OUT!

Returning to Jazz @ The CAM by popular demand, trumpeter and saxophonist Lynn Grissett brings a new version of his quartet with Jason Foureman on bass, Jeremy "Bean" Clemons on drums and Ernest Turner on piano performing traditional and modern jazz, and original compositions. Grissett has performed around the world as both a solo artist and as part of elite level ensembles. His many musical accomplishments include performing with Winard Harper, Ellis, Branford and Delfeayo Marsalis, Nile Rodgers, Trombone Shorty, Stevie Wonder, Jennifer Hudson, Ledisi, Cyrus Chestnut, and Prince to name a few of the musicians on his extensive performance list.

Purchase seats on CAM’s website, by phone, and at CAM’s Visitor Services desk. CAM/CFJS Members: $12.00 for, Non-members: $20.00, Students with valid college ID $10.00 (tax and fees not included). The eight-concert Jazz @ The CAM series is presented by Cameron Art Museum and the Cape Fear Jazz Society. Weyerhaeuser Reception Hall.

Dance Works-in-Progress Showcase

The Dance Cooperative, in association with CAM, provides informal showings to give working choreographers and dancers a place to present works in progress for review and critique in a nurturing environment. The public is invited to witness the creative process through its many stages and provide assistance to help the creator grow the works to realize their concepts to the fullest potential.
